Selection criteria

The 35 children, teenagers and youths that have so long benefited from the services offered by „Sfanta Ana” Association, had been selected according to a set of criteria:

-      Medically expertise certifying the existence of a severe mental and/or associated handicap

-      School age (between 7-18)

-      The specialized Comissions’orientation of these children to Ana Day Centre

-      Coming from families with no financial possibilities

In our recovery programs, as well as in others special services, were also included children belonging to other educational structures, whose families or legal sustainers specifically requested, for their children, services and activities offered by “Sfanta Ana” Association.

Among the types of diagnosis, with the first degree of handicap, of the Association’s beneficiaries, there are:

  •  Severe retard in psychical development

  •  Severe retard in psychical development, with autistic elements

  • Autism

  • Down Syndrome

  • Chronic Infantile Encephalopathy

  • Cerebral Paralisy

  • Psycho-motor retard

  • Other disabilities, with psycho-motor prevalence
